Ekemode Tajudeen Olawale, ACIB, HCIB, SMP, FERP, FAVM, PGD (Public Administration), is an accomplished banker, environmental management practitioner, entrepreneur, and public administrator whose professional career has spanned more than four decades of dedicated service to Nigeria's financial, environmental, and public sectors.
A highly respected professional, Mr. Ekemode combines extensive experience in banking, enterprise risk management, environmental sustainability, waste management, health and safety administration, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated integrity, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to institutional development and national progress.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria, a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from Edo State University, Ekpoma, and an Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Senior Management Programme of Lagos Business School.
Mr. Ekemode is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB) and a recipient of the Institute's Honorary Senior Membership Award (HCIB). He is also a Fellow of the Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (FERP) and a Fellow of the Institute of Asset and Value Management of Nigeria (FAVM).
His distinguished banking career was built at African International Bank (formerly Bank of Credit and Commerce International), where he rose through the ranks to become Principal Manager and Head of Domestic and Foreign Operations. In that capacity, he played a significant role in treasury management, foreign exchange operations, financial control, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
In 1999, he assumed leadership of Stable Cleansing Services Limited as Chief Executive Officer. Under his stewardship, the company has grown into a reputable environmental services organisation, delivering sustainable waste management solutions and supporting public-private sector initiatives aimed at improving environmental standards and public health.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Ekemode has rendered valuable service on several public and community platforms. He served as the Lagos State Government Representative on the Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board, Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Private Sector Participation (PSP) Solid Waste Management Scheme, and currently serves as a Board Member of the Lagos State Para-Powerlifting Association. He is also a member of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
His commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his participation in several professional and executive development programmes, including the member, organsing committee for the 15th Annual Banking and Finance Conference of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Orientation Programme for Relationship Officers, and Security and Supplementary Studies of the Nigerian Police Force.
A respected community leader, Mr. Ekemode serves as President of Club Arcade of Nigeria and Social Secretary of Island Club. He is also a member of Lagos Lawn Tennis Club and Abe Igi Senate Club, Lagos. In recognition of his contributions to community development and the preservation of cultural heritage, he holds the traditional title of Atayase of Okolaba Ekun, Eyo Oba, Olori Eyo Alakete Pupa, Lagos.
